LoliRock Research & Development : The Crystal Magic

Hi LoliRockers, 

As some of you requested, we’ve started to post the reference pictures for the magical circles each of our character use in the show.

I thought it would be cool to give you (after a little lifting) the reference video we used early on, when we were trying to figure out how the magic should feel, look like, and behave in the show.

The rough animation were made by Rachid Guendouze, one of the developement designer back in 2012, and as you can see we didn’t evolve much.

The crystal are now creating in CGI rather than 2D animation, which is a lot easier for the team, but most of the “rules” in this video still apply.
